I usually don’t shop at ALDI, but during Christmas and Easter, they usually have some good deals on toys. Starting March 29th, ALDI has Star Wars comic packs on sale for $9.99 and Transformers Animated deluxes for $8.99. Stores only get a limited number of these toys so for best selection, I recommend stopping early in the week.
While out looking for the latest wave of Transformers Animated deluxes (which I found), I came across the new Wal-mart exclusive Star Wars comic two packs. This wave includes Lt. Janek “Tank” Sunber/Amanin Warrior (Empire), Nrin Vakil/Ibtisam (X-Wing Rogue Squadron) and Keoulkeech/Machook/Kettch (Marvel). All three sets were priced at $12.99.

Wave 4 of the Star Wars comic two packs have begun to show up at retail. Rogue_2 and kenbenobi, of the Rebelscum forums, found the sets at Toys R Us and Wal-mart stores in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. Wave 4 of the comic two packs includes Clone Emperor/Luke Skywalker and Commander Faie/Quinlan Vos as well as the hard to find sets from wave 3 like Grand Admiral Thrawn/Talon Karrde and Darth Vader (White)/Princess Leia. Thanks to Rogue_2 for the picture!

Wave 6 of the G.I Joe comic two packs have finally shown up at retail. QWE and ladyhump of the Hisstank boards found all three sets at their local Wal-marts.

Wave six of the comic two packs include Snake Eyes/Hard Master, Beachhead/Mainframe and Scrap Iron/ Wild Bill.
Toys R Us is running a pretty decent sale on Star Wars toys this week. If you buy a Star Wars Transformer, comic pack or Galactic Heroes pack, you can get a second for half price. Unfortunately, the sale doesn’t include the single packed figures or the big ticket items like the AT-TE or BMF.

Despite the recent price increase for single packed figures, Target seems to be the place to find new G.I. Joe toys. Along with the vehicle and DVD sets, Target stores have been getting wave 5 of the comic two packs. SnowStorm and sgt.bludhound of the Hisstank boards found all three sets at their local Targets.

Wave five of the comic two packs include Iron Grenadier/Destro (with black helmet), Tripwire/Cobra Commander and Nemesis Enforcer/Falcon. Unlike Target’s rediculously priced single pack figures, the comic two packs are still only $9.99
