If you missed Toys R Us’ Transformers Universe sale the first time around, you’re in luck. Until August 5th,  you can pick up Universe Ultras and Voyagers for 50% off. As before, the sale does not include deluxe class Universe figures, ROTF toys or the exclusive Universe Ultras.

It appears that Toys R Us is trying to clear out the huge pile of Transformers Universe and Animated toys clogging up the shelves at most stores. Until July 18th, you can pick up Universe Ultras and Voyagers as well as Animated Supreme, Leaders and Bumper Battlers for 50% off. Unfortunately, the sale does not include deluxe class figures, Animated Voyagers or the exclusive Universe Ultras.

With the holidays behind them, Target has raised the price on a number of Transformer toys. While out doing my rounds, I noticed that the price of Animated deluxes and Bumper Battlers had been increased to $10.99.  The price of Voyager, Ultra and Leader class toys had also been raised to $21.99, $27.99 and $44.99, respectively. The price of Universe deluxes remain at $7.79, but its probably only a matter of time before they too go up in price.

And then there is Wal-mart… While they typically have the best price on toys, the retailer has decided to stick it to Transformer fans by charging a whopping $12.88 for Animated and Universe deluxes. So much for Walmart being the “low price leader.”

Update: Target has now raised the price of its deluxe class figures to $11.99. While not advertised widely, Universe deluxes are on sale for $7.79 until February 9th.

The fifth wave of Transformers Universe Voyager toys have begun to to hit stores in the U.S. col of the TFW2005 boards, found the entire wave at a Target store near Chicago, IL. The wave includes Inferno, Leo Prime and Overload.

Believe it or not, the fifth wave of Transformers Universe deluxes have already hit stores in the U.S. raltherr of the TFW2005 boards picked up Dinobot and Smokescreen at a Wal-mart in Kannapolis, NC.

The fourth wave of Transformers Universe deluxes have begun to hit Target stores in California. Bleargh001 of the Allspark and Nightrain of the TFW2005 boards found them at stores in the Los Angeles area. The wave includes Hound, Cyclonus, Cheetor and a new version of Starscream.

If you missed out on HasbroToyShop’s recent Transformers sale, you’re in luck. Amazon has dropped the price of select Animated and Universe toys by 55% or more. If you order $25 worth of toys, they’re also shipped free. Here are some of the toys on sale:

While there were lots of deals on HDTV’s and Blu-ray players, Black Friday was a bust for most toy collectors this year. The shelves were fully stocked at most of the stores I stopped at but, as far as prices go, there wasn’t much to get excited about.

If you shop at Target as much as I do, you probably noticed that the price of Hasbro action figures has gone up and down a lot over the last few months. Within the last month alone, the price of Transformers Deluxes has changed at least 3 or 4 times.

Apparently, the folks at Target have finally realized that no one was going to pay $10 or $11 for a Deluxe class figure when they could go to Wal-mart and get one for less than $8. The retailer has now lowered the price of its Animated, Movie and Universe deluxes down to $7.79. I’m not sure how long this sale will last, but if I had to guess, it will run through the holiday season.
