New Star Wars, Transformers and G.I. Joe Toys Now At Target

Yes, the summer toy drought is finally over. While Toys R Us jumped the gun and put out many of the new Star Wars and Transformers toys a few weeks ago, Target stores are in the process of resetting and stocking their action figure aisles. At two of my local Targets I found the Star Wars section jam packed with everything from Legacy and Clone Wars action figures to the new vehicles and battle packs. One even had high ticket items like the AT-AT and radio controlled Hailfire droid.

Transformer fans will also want to hit their local Target. The stores around here are packed with the first wave of Legends, Scouts, Deluxes, Voyagers and Leaders. They even had Human Alliance Jazz and Battle Ops Bumblebee. Also keep your eye out for Target’s new exclusive sets, which include two deluxe sized robots in some pretty garish colors. Needless to say, these will probably be on clearance in a few months.

Target doesn’t seem to be dedicating a lot of space for G.I. Joe. However the new Pursuit of Cobra toys are also starting to trickle out. My local Targets had a few pegs for figures as well as some shelf space for the vehicles and Mech suits. From what I’ve seen, these toys are a big improvement over the movie line and should be a big hit among collectors.

Toys R Us Exclusive Transformers Shanghai Showdown Set Found At Retail

While out looking for Animated Arcee and Ratchet at my local Toys R Us, I came across the new Transformers “Shanghai Showdown” three pack. This exclusive set includes a “dirty” Mudflap/Skids ice cream truck and a white repaint of Demolishor. Unlike some of TRU’s other exclusives, this set is priced at a reasonable $29.99.

Toys R Us Exclusive Transformers ROTF Gathering At The Nemesis Set Found At Retail

If you haven’t had your fill of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toys yet, you’re in luck. The Toys R Us exclusive Gathering at the Nemesis set has begun to hit stores in the U.S. Mr. Sparklebot of the TFW2005 boards found this box set at the TRU store in Murray, Utah. The Gathering at the Nemesis includes the Fallen, a G1 colored Soundwave and a (yet another) repaint of the Voyager class Megatron toy from the 2007 movie.

Transformers Universe and Animated Toys on Sale At Toys R Us Again

New Transformers ROTF Toys Hitting West Coast Targets

Over the last few days, there have been numerous reports of new Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toys showing up at Targets along the west coast. Both the wave 4 (Ice Cream Skids and Mudflap, Jolt, Blazemaster and Dead End) and wave 5 (Arcee, Swerve and Stalker Scorponok) deluxes were found at stores in southern California. If that weren’t enough, the fifth wave (Long Haul and Grindor) of Voyagers and forth wave (Nightbeat and Ejector) of Scouts have been sighted at some stores.

The Target exclusive Bruticus Maximus has also started to ship. Christoph Prime of the TFW2005 boards found two sets at a Target store in Colorado. I have yet to see any of these toys in my neck of the woods, but its only a matter of time before they hit the entire U.S.

It appears that Toys R Us is trying to clear out the huge pile of Transformers Universe and Animated toys clogging up the shelves at most stores. Until July 18th, you can pick up Universe Ultras and Voyagers as well as Animated Supreme, Leaders and Bumper Battlers for 50% off. Unfortunately, the sale does not include deluxe class figures, Animated Voyagers or the exclusive Universe Ultras.

Transformers ROTF Toys Released At US Retail

While most Transformers Revenge of the Fallen toys have a street date of May 30th, this hasn’t stopped some stores from putting them out early. There have been a number of reports of people finding everything from Legends and Bumper Battlers to Voyager and Leader class toys at Fred Meyer stores along the northwest coast of the US.

Otispq of the TFW2005 boards also found the first wave of ROTF deluxes at a Wal-mart in American Forks, Utah. Unlike other folks who found these toys, the computer did not prevent him from buying them.

Target Exclusive Animated Shockwave And Sunstorm Out In The U.S.

While not scheduled to be put out until March 22nd, the new Target exclusive Animated two packs have begun to show up on store shelves. silentrob of the TFW2005 boards found Sunstorm/Ratchet and Shockwave/Bumblebee at a Target in Maineville, Ohio.

If your local Target hasn’t put these sets out yet, you can try to get them pulled from the back by using the DPCI 087-06-0105.

Transformers Universe Inferno, Leo Prime And Overload Found At Retail

The fifth wave of Transformers Universe Voyager toys have begun to to hit stores in the U.S. col of the TFW2005 boards, found the entire wave at a Target store near Chicago, IL. The wave includes Inferno, Leo Prime and Overload.
